The bishop is very un-Christian as he is acting as a propaganda mouthpiece for terrorist beliefs.

Eg. He fails to mention that the Palestinians already have their own state in Jordan and that the Jordanian regime is guilty of genocide against the Palestine people (ref Black September 1971) and breaching international law by refusing to allow Palestinians to seek asylum, despite being the main neighbouring country to Israel.

Without blushing he laments that Israel "occupied" the West Bank and Gaza, but fails to mention that this was caused by the Arab States surrounding Israel, who once again started a war with Israel. The israelis did what anybody else would do and that was to fight back, save their nation, save their people from terrorists and warmongers, and then hold the strategic security areas like Gaza and the West Bank to prevent future surprise attacks like this one

Hello Anon.

First of all, please change your name to your real name if you want to comment here. Second, please publicly apologise for such disrespectful words to a Catholic bishop. Are you a Christian? These words lack any reverence for a Christian bishop.

If you don't do these things, whether your claims are true or false, they will fail to win any hearts from the path of war to peace.

With respect,

Timothy

Even if syrip mind was disrespectful, what he wrote is true.

I liked the interview. I read the book you mentioned and appreciated his response.

The plight of Christians everywhere in the Middle East is sad. As the Bishop mentioned "we" went to war with Israel. I am not sure what he meant by "we" but the Arab states that did go to war lost their aggressive war.

I think the USA and Israel need to do better. I know settlers and Israeli's in the west bank have been wrong, but we need to see that long before Zionism the Arab world was eliminating all of Christendom from their lands. Outside of Israel proper is there a safe place for Christians to thrive?

Could the West create a Christian Homeland? Run by Christian Arabs and Persians?

I am sympathetic with Israel and an ally in the West and also Sympathetic to Christians all over the Middle East. I wish I knew how we could help.

The Catholic definition of peace is achieved when there is order and order implies all things in their correct place. The injustice associated with the creation of the state of Israel cannot be today undone without further injustice and further disorder, the only solution therefore can be found if we can accept that a state based on exclusion and Jewish supremicism will never succeed to bring about peace. This means that israel's future is only possible if they abandon their current exclusivist path.
